Frequently asked questions
Does CueWee run on Apple Silicon and Intel Macs?
Yes. One download runs natively on Apple Silicon and on Intel Macs.
My Mac runs macOS 11 to 13.2. Which version do I use?
Use CueWee 1.3.12. The current app uses the web engine built into macOS, and a Safari update does not change that engine, so it needs macOS 13.3 or later. Version 1.3.12 gets no new features, only fixes that keep it running.
Is CueWee in the Mac App Store?
No. The Mac app is a direct download from this page, not from the Mac App Store.
How does the Mac app update?
It installs updates by itself in the background, so you stay on the current version without downloading it again.
What does the Mac app add over the browser?
You choose the output device and the sample rate, and you can route each stem to its own channel pair on an interface with several outputs, such as RME or Focusrite.

-
Multi-channel routing
Send each stem to its own physical output on RME, Focusrite, MOTU, or any pro audio interface.
-
Lower latency
Direct CoreAudio and WASAPI paths, no browser audio stack in the way. Click and stems lock together tighter.
